Jump-backed infrastructure projects Wormhole and Pyth are launching on Aptos, a layer 1 blockchain project founded last year by Meta alums.

lJump has been spending a lot of time in our ecosystem,r Aptos co-founder and CEO Mo Saikh said at the Messari Mainnet conference in New York City. lThey just finished the code base for Wormhole and Pyth.r

According to a Wednesday follow-on tweet thread, Wormhole announced its code has been deployed onto the Aptos devnet and is lfeature complete and in the process of being audited.r

Wormhole is a cross-chain bridge that allows users to transfer assets between major layer 1 blockchains. Currently, Wormhole supports blockchains including Solana, Ethereum, Avalanche, Polygon and Fantom, among others.

Pyth, a Jump-backed oracle, will also deploy on Aptos, bringing off-chain data onto Aptos, data which can then be utilized by developers to create decentralized applications.

lInteroperability will be key,r said Shaikh of the new partnerships.

The integrations also signal Aptos as an increasingly important blockchain project n with backing from industry heavyweights Jump and FTX n despite its recent founding.

Saikh also teased that Aptosr would launch its mainnet in lseveral weeks,r and that a big gaming collaboration is in the works.
